Deep wood birch panels with acrylic paint. Designs are sketched directly on the wood with pencil, then hand painted.

The wood panels are then stained on the sides or painted black, and coated with a UV protective coating. They require no additional frame, and travel home well. They will last forever.

Mixed Media Collage Paintings. Many of my paintings are now painted directly on birch wood panels as well as traditional canvases.

Collage elements include found objects, tissue papers, gold leaf, acrylic paint, buttons, paper, powder glitters and encaustics.
